GREY SCALES:
Grey scales are used for assessing colour change during colour fastness testing. The colour change scale consists of nine pairs of grey coloured chips, from grades 1 to 5 (with four half steps). Grade 5 represents no change and Grade 1 depicts severe change in some standards. The staining scale consists of nine pairs of grey and white coloured chips from grades 1 to 5 (with four half steps).
